Geocache Description:


The origional C&D canal had its eastern terminus at Delaware City. By 1928 the canal now owned by the Amry Corp of Engineers was deepend, straightned and improved with the eastern terminus moved to Reedy Point. The old section of the canal to Delaware City was kept, but with only small boat traffic it does not need a very large bridge.

There is good parking at commercial establishments just north of the bridge.
