A quick easy cache and dash in sight of the local karting circuit.
This was where it all began for me. My very first find was just up the road from here at the now archived 'Lydd Water Sports' (GC2TE5R). In celebration of that cache entering me into a world of hunting tupperware I felt it appropriate to make my first hide not far from that location.
The site chosen is near to the local karting track at Heron Park. Don't be afraid to wander up the side road to the track and watch the racing if you hear the engines whizzing.
A good stretch of the legs from the town along a flat route accessible to Prams, Buggies, Wheelchairs etc. There are excellent views over the RSPB reserve and across Denge Marsh towards Dungeness and the imposing power station.
