Stick It Out Traditional Cache
Balaraka: Time to say goodbye! On a maintenance run of our local caches; we were 0 for 3 in locating them today! Thanks to everyone for their patience; I was supposed to run out here and check on this one months ago - I got a gentle nudge from a cacher yesterday so came out today to take a look. Lots of memories about this one, may place a new cache in the spring of the same type but for now this area is opened up for a new cache.

*BYOP to this log-only hide in a great NV park. Note that a new container has been provided as of December 2013; it's similar to the original but with a nod to the Leopard series by the Balaraka team who adopted this cache.*
The kids used to call this 'Turtle Park' because of a rumoured turtle that lived in the pond here. Though we never did see the legendary turtle, there is a lot of wildlife to be found in the pond and nature trails nearby - in fact a Great Blue Heron watched us hide the cache! Lots of parking nearby - take advantage of the playground, the tennis courts or the nature trails while you're here. No need for bushwacking to make the find.
Congratulations to MrGigabyte for the FTF honours!
