A cache in honor of our "Shermageddon". Big enough for small tradeables. FTF gets a cool retractable key chain lite. No need to go on other side of the fence but it might make bushwhacking easier. Happy caching :)
Officials with the Indiana Department of Sherman Minton Bridge was closed on Friday, September 9, following discovery of a crack in a critical location. Transportation said the crack is in an arch support over the Ohio River. There are two archways on the bridge; the crack was found on the underside of the roadway, near the archway closest to the Ohio River.
Officials called the cracks incredibly serious and potentially catastrophic. Meantime, the 80,000 cars that cross the Sherman Minton bridge every day will have to find alternate routes causing a traffic nightmare some are calling "Shermageddon".
