Geocache Description:

This snow-friendly cache is located on the UMass Dartmouth Campus and is the second in a series of four (4) caches to be placed around the first-year residence halls.

The terrain is rated a 2 right now because you have to walk off into the woods a bit and there is not clear trail all the way to this spot. There are easy ways to access this spot and much more difficult ways. There are a few thorns in the cache area.

One-day parking passes are available for guests at the parking office in the Campus Center (41 37.741'N, 071 00.259'W) but it is unlikely that you'll be ticketed as long as you park in a legal space that isn't designated with some sort of restriction (Administrator, handicap, State Vehicle, etc.)

Public Transportation to campus is available from regional companies. Most public transportation drops off at the campus center.

This series of cache's is done with university approval and they have been placed so that you will avoid the majority of students as they move about. (read: less chance for a cache to be muggled!)

A weekend morning is probably the best time to search for this cache as most of the students sleep in on Saturdays and Sunday.

This cache should be a pretty quick find.
