This cache has been archived.

Reviewer Revan: Cache Owner (CO) has not responded, so I am regretfully archiving this cache to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking new cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace this cache sometime in the future (not to exceed 10 days from the date of this entry), just contact me (by e-mail), and assuming it still meets the current Guidelines, I will consider unarchiving this cache.

Please be advised this is not a guarantee that this geocache will be unarchived. Many factors will go into my decision. The most important of which is how you responded to geocachers who tried to communicate with you regarding the problem(s) with this geocache hide and how you communicated with me, the Reviewer Revan.

Geocache Description:

Circle 10 – Lone Star – Cache to Eagle #4 is the fourth in a series of 12 public geocaches located at Eagle Project sites across the Lone Star District in Circle 10 Council. It is part of the nationwide Cache to Eagle Series® program. The Lone Star Cache to Eagle Series is aimed at promoting geocaching and showcasing the community service and contributions of local Eagle Scouts. Each of these Scouting-themed caches contains a code word: one of the 12 points of the Scout Law.

Eagle projects can take on many forms and one way these projects help the community is through drives for goods and helping charitable organizations with key projects that enable those organizations to better assist individuals and families in crisis. The projects at site aid individuals and families who are homeless.

Recent Eagle Scout projects at this site include:

Troop 496 7/2009 Samaritan Vegetable/Herb Garden

Troop 594 5/2010 Samaritan Food Drive

Troop 1167 10/2010 Samaritan Dog Shed Restoration

Crew 590 10/2010 Samaritan Closet Project

Troop 303 12/2010 Samaritan Closet Project

Troop 303 7/2011 Samaritan Bowl Project
