I've decided to make it one of my many missions to ensure there is a geocache at every local skating/hockey rink. Many rinks already have geocaches placed by other folks. A couple rinks have one placed by me. This rink and another in the vicinity are the only ones in the area I am aware of without a cache nearby.
This cache should be fairly simple, quick, and easy. Well, depending on how you chose your approach. One method will require boots, another will require ... uhhhh ... not boots. Please replace it exactly as you found it.
Drop your kids off at the rink and take a quick stroll down the lane a little bit. The cache is a magnetic key holder with a log book. Yes, that's hockey tape covering the writing!
