How Many Outhouses? Multi-Cache

This is a new cache for Fort Clifton in Colonial Heights so remember the park is only open from dawn to dusk. No night caching. This is a multi-cache. Due to the trees I was getting a lot of bounce and the GPS accuracy was normally about 18 feet and that's in winter. In the summer? Who knows? But after the first stage, all caches are hidden is places that no cacher should have trouble recognizing.
First, you'll need to figure out the puzzle and then go to the park to get some more information.
To get the first number, you have to figure out how many outhouses fit in a barn?
Then find the total number of popular votes Abraham Lincoln received in the elections of 1860 and 1864.
Divide the number of votes by the number of outhouses that fit in a barn and round this to the nearest whole number. Take this number with you to the park. This number is X below
The first stage is at one of the historical marker signs in the park. To get to the second stage, you need to calculate a bearing and a distance to take from standing in front of Stage 1.
A = The month of the most important event Fort Clifton history.
B = The month when Federal gunboats also shelled Fort Clifton
C = The month the city of Petersburg fell to the Federal army.
Bearing = X times AB
Distance = X times CA
The last cache I listed above as Small but it is large enough to hold travel coins and bugs if they don't have any large attachments.
