Many geocachers have found large numbers of caches, filled in their ’81-matrix’ or found an arbitrary number of caches with an arbitrary name, attribute or within a designated time frame. But what makes a ‘Well Rounded Cacher?” I contend that a cacher who has limited themselves to only searching for geocaches in their own backyard is missing out on some of the challenge of geocaching. Searching for geocaches while traveling is a great way to explore the locale you are visiting. You will find secret spots and hidden history and discover different caching styles and cultures.
To log a find on this cache you must find/attend a geocache while traveling. On the day you log the find your “Maps” page from the “Statistics” tab on your profile page should demonstrate that you’ve found a cache on:
2 different continents (using the 7 continent model)
3 different countries (a nation with UN membership)
4 different Canadian provinces and
5 different states of the United States of America
On the day you log your find your profile page should demonstrate that you have found the required caches so your Statistics tab must be enabled in order to confirm your achievement. Note: 'locationless' caches do not appear on your Map page and will not contribute to this challenge. Good luck, enjoy.....
These trails can be wet in season, wear your wellies and bring your pencil.
