The cache is a magnetic one. It is stuck somewhere on the shelter. It only has space for the log, so bring a pen or pencil!
This cache is the first I have hidden by averaging the coordinates, so I hope they are ok. The shelter itself is easily found by following the Eagle's Nest Nature Trail, so even of the cordinates are a bit off, you should be ok getting to GZ!
The trail, Eagle's Nest Nature Trail is a really nice family friendly walk. On the northern slopes it is mostly tree covered and therefore sheltered from the sun in summer, and the wind in colder times of the year. As you get around onto the south facing slopes the trail is a little more exposed The benefit to this exposure is that the southern part of the trail gives you pretty spectacular views across Kowloon!
The trail itself is mostly hard packed mud, suitable for trainers or hiking boots, but not for strollers or "regual work shoes".
There are a few steep sets of stairs, but nothing too strenuous.
The whole trail is circular and can be done at speed (a bit of running on the flat/downhill bits) in 40 minutes or at a family style stroll (my 4 year old does it) in about 90 minutes.
Car parking is available on the Tai Po Road (right where the Pay the Piper cache, GC3AD85, is hidden!)
