Bass Lake park, opened in 2004, is home to a wide variety of plants and animals. Take a stroll around the park on your way to find this cache and you may see deer, herons and maybe even a river otter.
I rated this 1.5/2.5 by starting at the main parking lot and following the trail around (about 2 miles round trip). This could be a 1/1 if you park at the picnic shelter, effectively making this a park-n-grab. Though it wouldn't be nearly as fun. There is at least one other geocache in the park.
A few logs have mentioned a deep hole near the cache, so please take care of where you step when approaching!
Park hours are Monday-Sunday 8:00 am - Sunset.
