Headwaters of Leipsic River is Massey Mill Pond and then Garrisons Lake south of Smyrna. To the east are extensive salt marshes. Duck Creek in Bombay Hook Federal wildlife area flows into the Leipsic River.
From good parking you will have about a 350 foot walk along the road to the cache, but you will also be high enough for nice views of the river.
