fear the tubas: This cache has gone missing, the area where I placed it is overgrown, and I don't really even remember where my original hide was now! I would like to archive this and replace the cache with a new cache. I have placed a different container and will use a different name. I hope this is ok.

Geocache Description:

Follow the road to nowhere! An easy cache near a lovely field for 4 legged friends to romp in. Look up to see the imposing height of the dam!

The bowling alley is gone, and the community hall, all the evidence of the once thriving community that was here, supported by West Kootenay Power so that their employees families could have a nice place to live. Amazing to think of a whole community created and then disassembled at the whim of a company.
