Geocache Description:

Heading south with Dover Air Force Bace on the right and Kitts Hummock Road to the John Dickinson Plantation on the left, Rt-9 ends as it meets Rt 1 at an overpass. This is the final cache of the Rt-9 series. If you have time check out official byway stops of Air Mobility Command Museum, John Dickenson Plantation and the St. Jones reserve. There is also a total of 6 caches at these sites.

Route 9 Coastal Heritage Scenic Byway winds along the north and central Delaware coast, passing through several wildlife refuges and areas. The byway begins in the historic city of New Castle and ends just south of Dover Air Force Base. The two-lane, north-south road runs 52 miles, paralleling the western shore of Delaware River and Bay. The official state and greenway web sites are found at: Greenway Site and DOT Site
