Geocache Description:

Malton Switch (Historical)

Settlement and railroad siding 3 miles south of Orland. Also known as "Maulton" and of unknown origin. The proposed business section did contain a warehouse and side tracks where trains stopped upon being signaled. The community was only a memory by 1920.

This road goes straight down the middle of the Glenn/Tehama County Line. East Bound is Glenn County. West Bound is Tehama County.
