These caches are placed to highlight some of the trails in Newmarket.
FTF trinkets include a FTF pin and another of the VALUABLE Spring Fling IV fridge magnets... a momento from the last of the pre-MEGA Spring Flings.
The original Newmarket Trails cache hide was extremely susceptible and was muggled several times. Decided to archive the original and discovered this great trail system while searching for another cache - a puzzle cache by RCA777.
Will be back to hike the whole trail and likely will be putting one or two more caches here.
There is a lane way to the trail parking which might be tricky after a heavy snow. Not sure if the road to the parking will be plowed so the cache is winter friendly, but if the suggested parking is not accessible, there might be an extra hike to get to the cache in the winter.
Check out the "octopus" tree (N 44 04.234 W79 31.208) just off the trail on the way to the cache.
