Geocache Description:

Part of the mythplaced series, accessible along the towpath.

A small traditional a long way from parking. The towpath crosses over here - note the typical design of bridge in such places, and the smooth rounded brickwork to allow horse's tow ropes to slide over.

Azukiarai

Mind your footing around here. The Japanese Azukiarai is a mischievous water spirit that makes mysterious noises and draws unwary cachers too near to the water - if you hear its song (see below), it is said you will inevitably fall in! It gets amused by this - as would any companions you have with you, I'd guess…

Azuki togo ka,
Hito totte kuo ka?
You want cache? Shoki shoki!
You fall in!? Okey Dokey!!

Mythplaced

This is a 13km (8 mile) loop, mostly in countryside, which can be walked in any order or direction. The series 'bonus' cache is actually a 6-stage multicache interspersed between the series caches, which you can collect on your way round or separately. Walking Notes are in the Series multicache GC3BHE6

There are plenty of options for parking - look near to 'Dragon', 'Ghouls', 'Pegasus' or 'Grææ'.
