Also known as 'The Unpronouncable Aztec one"
Note: There is a waypoint for the Series Bonus multi cache north of here, where the sub station for the old Power plants still exists.

The Aztec God of Devastation did a fair bit of moonlighting in the realms of discord, sorcery, war, strife, huricanes, but also the night in general and the rock obsidian - which looks a lot like highly-polished coal or anthracite. Perhaps he thought burning coal was a bad thing, and was involved in bringing down the two power stations whose remains you are walking along the side of.
Meaford Power Stations used to be here before our friend the unpronoucable Aztec God came along and demolished them - first Station 'A' in 1982 then the award-winning Station 'B' in 1996. Some images of the destruction can be found in the gallery.

This is a 13km (8 mile) loop, mostly in countryside, which can be walked in any order or direction. The series 'bonus' cache is actually a 6-stage multicache interspersed between the series caches, which you can collect on your way round or separately. Walking Notes are in the Series multicache GC3BHE6
There are plenty of options for parking - look near to 'Dragon', 'Ghouls', 'Pegasus' or 'Grææ'.
