Charon Traditional Cache

A crafty hide by a busy junction, near a river that has seen prettier places.

• Heading North-West from here, stick to this side of the road. There's a waypoint for the bonus multi before the next cache in the series (Kachina).
• Heading South towards Dragon, take care crossing the A34, here is about as good as you'll get.

Charon

Pay the ferryman and he'll carry you over the River Styx on your way to the underworld (also known as the Whacky Warehouse). As the sign by the landing stage says, though, there is 'Danger of Death' around here! If the Hades Planning Committee had known about bridges, I'd think the A51/A34 monster in front of you would have been just the thing for them.

This is a 13km (8 mile) loop, mostly in countryside, which can be walked in any order or direction. The series 'bonus' cache is actually a 6-stage multicache interspersed between the series caches, which you can collect on your way round or separately. There are plenty of options for parking - look near to 'Dragon', 'Ghouls', 'Pegasus' or 'Grææ'.
