Geocache Description:

Township of Honiton

Honiton was proclaimed a town in 1876, and in it's hey day had a school, post office, town hall, council chambers,a store, an oval and tennis courts. It's all but gone now, with the only building still standing being the old cricket club rooms next to the paddock that was the oval. The Honiton cricket club is still in existence, but has used the Editburgh oval and clubrooms as it's home ground since the late 70's.

This is a very small cache with only a log in it. BYOP.

Have fun!(and enjoy my favorite town)
