Up The Line Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This cache is located near a very quiet road with space to park, near Robertson Train Station, Robertson Bowling Club and a large public field. You can drive almost to GZ and it is stroller accessible. You might need a log extraction tool (or find a twig nearby). Bring your own pen.
You could treat this as a drive-by, but there's good space for geokids/dogs to run around, and if you have food, there's some sheltered picnic tables. There's a tourist information board about Robertson here, some "reconciliation poles" sculptures and a memorial to workers on the Unanderra - Moss Vale railway (1927-32) designed by local artist Bert Flugelman.
Note that apart from the occasional historic train visit, trains do not stop at this station anymore. However, large freight trains do use this line every day, so obey the signs and stay out of the station itself unless it's an obvious open day.
