Geocache Description:

Cache is a bison w/log only. Very popular park with lots of mini muggles and their moms (or nannies). Stealth may be required.

First dedicated Eleanore Park in 1924 and named after the street nearby, Alma Peters park was rededicated in 1973. Alma Peters lived in the neighborhood and worked for what was the New Orleans Playground Commission. Later, when New Orleans established the New Orleans Recreation Department (NORD)in 1947, she made the shift and finished her career of service to the youth of New Orleans.

You might notice an array of tricyles, balls and other well used objects of play that have been brought to the playground by the neighborhood and left for the enjoyment of all. What a great way for a scooter to live out its final days.

The waypoint here will take you to a bay tree. You know those leaves we routinely pay several dollars for for a small jar full at the store? Yep those are the ones. Great for red beans and gumbo and all your New Orleans favorites, these are here for the taking. Beware though, the tree is near the center of mini muggle activity!
