This is a short series placed around Furness Vale to coincide with the KT9 gathering. The caches can be accessed from a track and therefore can be done with small children or buggies if required. However, the area is popular with dog-walkers so a little stealth is required.
It was intended to try and make this a circular walk but present underfoot conditions make this impossibe but you can extend the walk by continuing ahead after the last find on to Whaley Bridge/Hockerley and its caches or return back the way you came. Hopefully in future I will complete the circle. The container is a small screwtop yoghurt pot disguised with some tape. Please once signed replace the log back within the plastic bag inside as this will aid future removal. BYOP.
