WirralWallaces: We collected this container on our way around the Caldy Ramble, The container was just as we had left it. However we have decide to free up the space for a new cache should anyone decide that they want to fill the vacated space.

Geocache Description:

This cache is situated just off a gravelled footpath and is well hidden. The terrain is generally flat.

This is part of a series of 7 caches we have placed on some of the lesser used footpaths of Caldy.

You will be looking for a micro sized container that is covered in camouflage tape and you will need tweezers to remove the log and a pen to sign it.

Parking is available at nearby Caldy Club but please be aware that the club tends to be very busy at weekends especially between September and March when the club in inundated with rugby players! You will be able to park here free of charge unless the Caldy First Team are playing in which case you would be asked to pay (something to do with rugby union league rules!) In this case, you will be able to park in Pikes Hey Road but please have some consideration for the residents.

Take care with geokids and geokids when crossing the road towards the trailhead.

Please use STEALTH along this footpath and when retrieving the cache as the farmer nearby has been a bit inquisitive!
