This cache is situated at the start of a public footpath and is part of a series of 7 caches on a roughly circular route. The caches do not need to be done in any particular order.
This particular cache can be also be done as a drive by.
You will need to bring a pair of tweezers to remove the log from the cache and a pen to sign it.
If doing this cache as part of the circular, parking is available at nearby Caldy Club but please be aware that the club tends to be very busy at weekends especially between September and March when the club in inundated with rugby players! You will be able to park here free of charge unless the Caldy First Team are playing in which case you would be asked to pay (something to do with rugby union league rules!) In this case, you will be able to park in Pikes Hey Road but please have some consideration for the residents.
Alternatively, you may park in Long Hey Road which is opposite the start of the footpath.
Please take care with geokids and pets when crossing the roads.
