Caldy Ramble 4: Hole in the Wall Traditional Cache
WirralWallaces: Time has been called on these caches, to be fair we were surprised that this one apparently had fewer issues than the flying rat, that said this was just a plain container rather than a novelty container.

This cache is part of a series of 7 caches roughly on a circular route using some of the lesser used footpaths of Caldy and venturing into Stapledon Woods.
The path to this particular cache can be quite wet at times and also runs upwards. Walking boots or wellies are preferable!
This is the fourth cache in the series and you will be looking for a camouflage container that we won after the Birkenhead Park Cito event last year.
It has some small swops and is large enough to take small trackable items.
If you are doing the circular, parking is available at nearby Caldy Club but please be aware that the club tends to be very busy at weekends especially between September and March when the club in inundated with rugby players! You will be able to park here free of charge unless the Caldy First Team are playing in which case you would be asked to pay (something to do with rugby union league rules!) In this case, you will be able to park in Pikes Hey Road but please have some consideration for the residents.
Alternatively, parking is also available at the other end of the trailhead in Kings Drive North.
Please take care with geokids and dogs when crossing the roads.
From here to route passes through Stapledon Woods.
**** CONGRATULATIONS to Ian Burford for First to Find ****
