Geocache Description:

THE CACHE IS AT THE POSTED COORDINATES, BUT THERE IS A SPECIAL LOGGING REQUIREMENT.

The cache IS located at the posted coordinates. However, in order to log this cache as a find, you or your registered team name must have MOVED a minimum of 50 Travel Bugs and/or Geocoins (that you do not own). Discoveries DO NOT count. You must have logged and moved them to a new cache or event.

Trackable items are a fun twist added to geocaching with the release of the first Geocoin September 30th, 2001. Some of these trackables have specific missions, while others are listed for general travel. It’s neat to watch these move about with some turning up in the far reaches of the globe (and beyond with at least one reaching the International Space Station). Without Geocachers willing to move these bugs and coins along they sit and become stagnate.

If you are not sure if you qualify with the required minimum of 50 travelers moved, here is how you can check, it is a two-step process...

First Step – Sign into your geocaching.com account, then click on your name in the box located in the upper right hand corner. On the next page on the right hand side and down a bit you will see your ‘Stat Bar’. Click on your Stat Bar to view you profile. On the top of the next page, click on the tab ‘Trackables’. The left hand column lists ‘Trackables Moved/Discovered’ by you. Go to the bottom of this column and find the number of Trackables Moved/Discovered. Jot this number down somewhere.

Second Step – While still signed in to your account and from the Geocaching.com homepage, click on your name in the box located in upper right hand corner just as you did in the first step. This time, on the next page, look for this statement “Your Logs (Last 30 Days)”. Underneath that statement you will have three choices. Select “Trackable Items”. On the next page, look for the following statement “Your Travel Bug Logs (All)”. Underneath that statement there will be several options. Of those options, select “Discovered It”. This will display all of your ‘Discovered’ logs ever entered by you under this account. Just above the “Discovered It” option you just selected will be the number of results. Subtract this number from the number you jotted down in the First Step and the result will be trackables that you have moved.

The St. Paul Challenge Series is intended to be a series of challenge caches that is accessible even to casual cachers. You could drive from cache to cache, but most caches are located 0.13 miles apart, so I recommend walking. I have attempted to place the caches in a logical order so that you can get them in numerical order with minimal street crossings. In a few instances, because of unsuitable geo-beacons, I had to put the cache on the opposite side of the street. I hope that you will forgive me.
