Geocache Description:

You are looking at the McDowell Prairie Restoration area. This is the first of six caches that will introduce you to the back side of McDowell Park. All six are easy park and grab caches with parking right at the cache location.

I know you don't want to come all the way out here for just one cache so there are six easy caches for you to find along Shopton Rd. West bordering the McDowell Nature Preserve. On the back of each log sheet will be a number that you can use to find an ammo can in the woods in McDowell Park proper. Keep track of the numbers as you complete this cache run and then visit the park for an ammo can in the woods!
