Geocache Description:

One of the start points of my "power amble" in the Ralph Barer Forest.

Please note GPS reception on the lower parts of the trails in the forest was terrible. I've been to everyone of these caches twice and taken two and three sets of readings for most of them. Often the GPS would jump around and I'd watch it go from 23M to 0 and back again while standing in the same place. So a blanket apology for the coordnates for the caches on lower elevations.
Next a note about the private land. Accessing the trail system from Corry Road (see waypoint) and at the Ralph Barer Forest cache there is a trail to the north that is marked "private road" - (see waypoints). On my way up I took a different set of trails to access the Bluejay Trail, Spring Ridge, Ghost Road and Raven ridge caches. However coming back south this trail is NOT marked as private - in fact it is marked as the public trail to Corry Road. The choice is yours. If you are not comfortable walking up this road from the Ralph Barer Forest cache trailhead you can work your way to the east and then take trails that will get you on these more northerly routes.
Please note all of the caches in this series are micros - so if you don't like micros in the woods... I did provide generous hints for each one - and they are all right beside the trail. No bushwacking is needed to get to any of these caches but the old road which the Ghost Road cache is placed on is rather overgrown with Salal for about 100 meters.
I would advise that you use a map of the trails in here. I got turned around many a time - with maps!
My thanks to dog_cachers and who have shared their amazing map expertise with me.
