Cache is in a camoed plastic jar. You may have to duck to get to it. Co-ordinates are averaged from seven readings from a Garmin Etrex and an averaged reading of a Garmin GPSmap62S. There were six readings of .995 and two of 994 and six readings of 547 and two of 548. Searching for this cache at night IS NOT RECOMMENDED.

This cache is located in the vicinity of what was the Hampton station for the C&O Railway. Interstate 64 is on top of some of the station tracks, which until around the beginning of World War II was the third station west bound, the other two being Fort Monroe and Phoebus. (Don't let your GPSr take you east bound on I-64. Won't work. Cove via Hampton streets. Hampton had five passenger tracks, including the mainline and a team track and was quite busy. The C&O's premiere passenger trains, the George Washington, the FFV, and the Sportsman's Penninsula section passed through or originated at this station. You can still see evidence of the track - in fact you walked over the mainline to get to this cache. For a long time the Ringling Brothers, Barnum and Bailey circus train got parked here when the circus was in town. Small swag items include some small items. There is a pen, but remember cold ballpoints sometimes don't work well.
