This is the beginning of three caches on the Red river. This is the easiest to get to. There are no trails to these caches and are accessed by water even though they are on solid ground.
Let the Red river adventure begin. first of all you must know rule one. Water is out to get you, if you forget this rule you can get into trouble fast. Park at N46 39.220 w 092 13.580 this is Boy Scout landing. The best way to access these will be by canoe/kayak or on the ice(rule one) This a beautiful little river with a ton of wild life in the area. One of the wetland creatures , the beaver is making it more difficult to move on the water, but they are willing to share,and get you wet. this first cache is in the mouth of the river , where it empties into the St. Louis river about 3/4 of a mile from Boy Scout landing. These caches are all on state owned land.
