This cache is a micro without a pen, and has been rated using the rating system, and adjusted for wind correction ... or corrected for wind adjustment ... er ... whatever.
This is a nice "walk around the park", multi-stage cache. It may take more than one hour to complete, depending on how much time it takes to find each leg, but should be less than two anyway... Terrain is mostly flat, but, there might be mud, water, ice, gps bounce, thorns, wildlife, birds, bugs, and frustration involved ... you may even swear or laugh. There is no longer any necessary bushwhacking as of 09/14/13. The condition of the trails varies throughout the year.
* Third version now - this cache has been plagued with a disappearing final two times now ... so I hereby officially completely give up on the pinecone ... have you ever tried to make one of those? ... Not Easy! So the fourth leg pinecone final has been removed and the multi will now just be the three physical locations (still maintaining the four points of the quadrangle anyway, so I guess it's ok).
I am dropping the difficulty by a half point to be fair to previous finders, and dropping the terrain by a half point as well because there is no longer any bushwhacking.
{side note (Sometimes I use a camera to record important information on the trail (coords, anomalies, hints ... etc), you may find this helpful on this cache (or any multi for that matter).}
Tetragon is a fancy obsolete word for a four sided polygon, or parallelogram ... I figured that would be a good name for this one, so that's why I named it that. As a matter of fact, the whole "4" theme has haunted me since I came up with this idea ... with the leap year and all. I have a minor problem though ... a Tetragon would be a closed 4 sided polygon with 4 sides or "legs" if you will. ... This, sadly, I am unable to pull off for this cache, because, what sense would it make to place the final for a multi at the posted coords? ... so ... we'll just go with three.
Please note that the final presently is in a two part "container", so please take care with the retrieval and replacement, thanks.

((If you have an android phone you can get a free app called "GeoCache Calculator" or "GCC" from the market... it has multiple uses, including projecting waypoints to 4 or 5 decial places. I have not found the tool to do this online yet.))
