Old Government Railway Bridge over the Bushmans river, Estcourt.
My car reached 44444km so why not get it at an interesting place. I did have to drive up and down the road a few times to get the Odometer on the right reading.
This lovely old bridge was built in 1885 to link Durban with the Coalfields in Northern Natal. Although the bridge is no longer in use as a new rail network has been built, the bridge still stands strong across the Bushman's river as it did over a 100 years ago.
I have long since wanted to place a cache here so it was about time. It has been a listing of mine on Waymarking for a few years already so you can log your visit there too.
I had an erratic reading on the GPS due to the bridge structure and only managed an accuracy of around 8 meters. Follow the hint if you get stuck. Beware of muggles and use stealth.
