Sacrifice Traditional Cache

The cache is located at the Foster cemetery. Special camo so it may give you some trouble. This story was told to us when i was a student at Scotland School just down the road.
The story behind this cache is something straight out of the story books. When you arrive you'll see the grave of Calvin J. Whitfield, the one with the white house over it. Calvin was killed at age 18, he gave his life to ward off a Wild Boar from attacking two women. As he lured the boar away it charged him and the animal's tusk cut a main artery in his leg. Calvin bled to death before help could arrive. It just goes to show that things like this really happen, its tragic ending, but a heroic one as well. I'm happy to be sharing this story with my fellow cachers and bringing light to his name. Enjoy
