Dalesman: This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not responded to my note I am archiving it.

Guidelines:*"You are responsible for occasional visits to your cache to maintain proper working order, especially when someone reports a problem with the cache (missing, damaged, wet, etc.). You may temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to search for it until you have a chance to fix the problem. This feature is to allow you a reasonable amount of time - normally a few weeks - in which to check on your cache. If a cache is not being maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an unreasonable length of time, we may archive the listing."*

Geocache Description:

This is a small magnetic nano. You can take a photo of this wonderfull structure that's been here since 1785. And has recently been restored. Happy caching.
Please replace where found, so muggles can't see it as it's been taken before:-)
This can be found from the bottom step ?

This corngrinding windmill was built about 1785 by George waud on 3 roods 3 perches {0.35 hectares} of howfield land alloted to him in the 1775 inclosure act.

It is of the Lincolnshire pattern built with hand-made bricks and with an ogee cap, which could be revolved through 360 degrees by the action of the wind on the fantail wheel to keep the sails facing the wind.

They may of been an earlier post mill on this site but reliable records of it have yet to be found.
