| A mai Magyarország területén az I. vh után eredménytelen kutatások folytak. 1936-ban Budafapusztánál feltárták az ország elsõ ipari jelentõségû kõolajtelepét, innen számítjuk a magyar kõolajtermelést. Ezt dr Papp Simon geológusnak köszönhetjük, aki elévülhetetlen érdemeket szerzett kutatásaival itthon és külföldön is. A termelés 1940-ben már fedezte az ország szükségletét. 1950-ig a Dunántúlé volt a fõszerep, aztán lassan az Alföld vette át a vezetést. Néhány település, ami bevonult a történelembe: elsõsorban Budafapuszta, Nagylengyel, de sorolhatnánk több zalai dombságbeli települést is. Az Alföldön a nagyobbak talán Algyõ, Zsana, Hajdúszoboszló, aztán itt van még Szolnok, Törtel, Nagykõrös, Üllés, Tótkomlós, Kaba, Nádudvar, de a felsorolás nem teljes - kõolaj- és földgázlelõhelyek vegyesen. |

The company LuKoil
|
| Lukoil is the second largest Russian and worldwide the sixth largest oil company which is listed at the stock exchange. The company is the first vertical integrated oil company in Russia. Lukoil produces almost two million barrel oil and gas per day. At the raw oil reserves it exceeds all other oil companies which are listed at the stock exchange. They got about 16 billion barrel; which is 0,4 percent of the total reserves of the world. |

| Lukoil was formed in 1991 when three state-run, western Siberian companies named after the respective town in Khanty–Mansi Autonomous Okrug that each was based, Langepasneftegaz, Urayneftegaz, and Kogalymneftegaz, merged. The initials of the three companies are preserved in the name Lukoil. The central figure in the company's founding was the Soviet deputy minister of oil production Vagit Alekperov. He came to believe the only way Russians could compete against western companies was to copy their business model. That meant vertically integrating the three branches of the industry - exploration, refining, and distribution - that were strictly separate under the old Soviet system. It was one of the first Russian companies to receive full listing on the London Stock Exchange. |

| The present-day territory of Hungary saw some fruitless research for oil after World War I. In 1936 they revealed the country's first oil deposits of industrial importance at Budafapuszta, thanks to geologist Dr. Simon Papp who has great achievements in oil research in Hungary and abroad. This is considered as the beginning of Hungarian oil production. In 1940, the production already covered the country's needs. Until 1950, Dunántúl, the western half of the country had a leading role, which was then slowly overtaken by Alföld, the flat eastern half. Perhaps the most important municipalities in this process were Budafapuszta and Nagylengyel but we could mention also a few settlements from Zala. In Alföld, the most important ones were Algyo, Zsana and Hajdúszoboszló and then Szolnok, Törtel, Nagykorös, Üllés, Tótkomlós, Kaba, Nádudvar. The list, a mix of crude oil and natural gas sources, is not complete. |

| Lukoil ist der zweitgrößte russische Mineralölkonzern und der sechstgrößte börsennotierte Ölkonzern der Welt und der erste in Russland, der vertikal integriert ist. Lukoil fördert pro Tag fast zwei Millionen Barrel Öl und Gas. Bei den Rohölreserven übertrifft er alle anderen an der Börse gehandelten Unternehmen der Welt. Sie betragen 16 Milliarden Barrel; das sind 0,4 Prozent der weltweiten Ölreserven. |

| LuKoil wurde 1991 aus drei staatsgeführten West-Sibirischen Unternhemen der Region Khanty–Mansi Autonomous Okrug gebildet, die jeweils nach den Städten in denen sie beheimatet waren benannt waren (Langepasneftegaz, Urayneftegaz, and Kogalymneftegaz). Die ersten Buchstaben der der Firmen gaben der heutigen LuKoil ihren Namen. Die zentrale Person bei der Gründung war der frühere Sowjetische Vizeminister für Ölproduktion Vagit Alekperov. Er war der Überzeugung, dass der einzige Weg mit westlichen Unternehmen konkurrieren zu können war, dass man das Geschäftsmodel dieser Unternehmen kopierte. Dies bedeutete, dass vertikal drei Zweige der Industrie – Förderung, Veredelung und Vertrieb - , welche unter dem alten Sowjetischen System strikt getrennt waren, vereint wurden. LuKoil war auch eine der ersten Russischen Unternehmen welches vollständig an der Londoner Börse gelistet war. |

Erdölbohrung - Pferdekopf-Pumpe

| Die erste und immer noch stark genutzte Methode der Erdölförderung ist die mechanische Förderung mittels einer Tiefenpumpe genannt “Pferdekopf-Pumpe”. Sie ist weiterhin eine populäre und weithin genutzte Förderpumpe in Ungarn und auch weltweit. |

| Auf dem heutigen Territorium von Ungarn konnte man einige fast fruchtlose Versuche der Erdölförderung nach dem Ersten Weltkrieg finden. 1936 wurde in Ungarn, Dank des Geologen Dr. Simon Papp, der große Erfolge bei der Erdölsuche in Ungarn und im Ausland aufzeigen kann, die ersten industriell wichtigeren Erdölvorkommen in Budafapuszta entdeckt. Dies wird als der Beginn der Ungarischen Erdölförderung angesehen. 1940 deckte die Förderung schon Ungarns Bedarfe. Bis 1950 hatte Dunántúl, der Westliche Teil Ungarns, die führende Rolle welche jedoch langsam vom Alföld, der flache Östliche Teil Ungarns, übernommen wurde.
