Geocache Description:

This cache along Portsmouth's scenic waterfront near High Street Landing replaces White Lightning (GC1XFHZ). The hide technique for that one didn't work out, so I used a tried and true method.

It will bring you near a semi-recently restored Fresnel Lens. This beautiful lens sat atop the Hog Island Lighthouse along the Eastern Shore during the 1800's. There is an information display nearby that will fill you in on some of its history. Enjoy your visit!

It can be reached from the paved area.
