WirralWallaces: Given the fairly enclosed position of this container and the fact that we had tied the bag to the hide location it was fairly disappointing to find that the container has gone missing again, also the bag and tie has also vanished, clever animals in Caldy!
We have decided to archive this cache as it is becoming rather expensive to keep supplying squirrels for the local habitat.

Geocache Description:

This cache is situated in Stapledon Woods just off one of the paths.

This is part of a series of 7 caches on a roughly circular route using some of the lesser used footpaths of Caldy and venturing into Stapledon Woods.

The caches can be done in any order

You will be looking for a cache hidden in a camouflage bag (which is a temporary bag at the moment as we are still waiting for a supply to be delivered!) You will also require tweezers to remove the log and a pen to sign it.

If you are doing the circular walk, parking is available at nearby Caldy Club but please be aware that the club tends to be very busy at weekends especially between September and March when the club in inundated with rugby players! You will be able to park here free of charge unless the Caldy First Team are playing in which case you would be asked to pay (something to do with rugby union league rules!) In this case, you will be able to park in Pikes Hey Road but please have some consideration for the residents.

Alternatively, parking is available in Kings Drive North.

Please take care with geokids and dogs when crossing the roads.
