This is a beautiful area to go for a walk or even longer hike in. I've placed the cache about 1/3rd of a mile from the parking area. There is some light bushwacking from the trail to the cache, about 180 feet.
Trail of Tears is one of many conservation areas in the town of Barnstable, MA. This area has approximately 20 miles of trail and is frequently used by walkers, hikers, mt. bikers and equestrians. There are a number of other caches in the conservation area as well. I wanted to place a geocache here because I always enjoy the peacefulness of this meadow, regardless of the season. I hope you do too!
