Geocache Description:

A short hike from the parking area on the south side of the plot where you will also find a gate providing access. You are looking for a 2ml tube.

This is located on a piece of property set aside for this Oakes history. Had the railroads met on the west side of the river, Oakes would not exist today and instead another town would be the flagship city of Eastern Dickey County. Read the monument to find out what this city would have been called.
