Biggest, Fastest tobogganing hill in the region ! Come out and bring your sled (weather permitting). Years ago there was a J-bar ski lift running each weekend during the winter, but those days are long gone. Now the hill is ruled by Innertubes, GTs and CrazyCarpets. Watch your footing on this 100 ft vertical climb.
This Winter Friendly cache has been placed by a Mid-Western Ontario Geocacher!
In the winter, this area can be very slippery, so please watch your step. In the summer, the grass can grow very tall, so watch your step as well. If the snow is deep, be sure to wear your high-boots. No matter when you arrive, you can expect a bit of a walk, and a little bit of a climb to get to this one.
- Our first Tobogganing cache was a LetterBox Hybrid placed in this spot in 2009. But it went missing during "Summerfolk" weekend in August of 2010.

- We then went higher and faster for the next winter season. We picked a spot at the very top that was more sheltered, and secluded from the muggles. But it also went missing during "Summerfolk" in 2011.

Since this is still the GREATEST hill in the area,
(and since the City gave us permission to have a cache placed here), we have tried a third time. Unfortunately, the Stamps are gone, and the LetterBox Hybrid is no more, so we have chosen to place a Bison Tube in a tree. When you re-roll the log, please place it in the lid portion first, before re-closing the tube.
A micro may not be as special as a LetterBox ... but a winter friendly cache is still a cache and a smilie !
