No, this streak isn't about a 1970’s pastime for the uninhibited. That would be Additional Logging Requirements, and Groundspeak frowns on such things these days. The Streak Challenge is a series of caches based on consecutive days with at least one find. And you won’t get arrested for participating. Unless you want to combine the two streaks - the caches are pretty close together. Just don’t post any pictures.

Daddy Streak Daddy remembers when the prospect of a caching career was unbelievably sweet. Nowadays it’s more like a bowl of fibre cereal, the sticklike stuff with no sugar: filling, apparently good for you, a lot of ho hum. He puts in long hours at the caching office, and finds less and less time for those other things he used to do. He’s settled into a routine where he thinks about caching all the time, planning his day around it. Each day’s cache is carefully selected for the season, time of day, proximity to home, and about 17 other factors. His greatest joy is when he finds himself outside his normally travelled routes and he is free to grab the closest easiest cache available. He hardly ever calls and never drops by anymore. You’re a little concerned about how all-consuming caching has become for him, but you suppose this is what you had hoped for all those many cache finds ago. After all, he could’ve got into stamp-collecting or birdwatching or some other nerdy pursuit instead. Claiming the find In order to claim this find, the Longest Streak on the Statistics page of your geocaching.com profile must be at least fifty (50) days. A single year long streak will qualify you for all caches in this series; a separate streak for each cache is not necessary - but if you choose to do it that way, please let us know! Cache owner will verify each find log and delete those which do not meet the criteria. If you’ve restricted access to your Statistics page, contact the cache owner to make other arrangements for verification. Logs You’ve come this far, tell us what you think of streaking.
