Cache is hidden on a trail in the Nanaimo River Estuary Holden Creek Conservation area.
I'm not sure if this was the exact location of the Holden Creek Farm but I do know this land was acquired by the Pacific Estuary Conservation Project (PECP) and turned into an important conservation area. The area is important because it provides needed habitat for many migratory birds. The migrating birds use this area as a breeding and feeding stopover. Birds can be found at all times of year and some even winter on the estuary.
Cache is a small lock n lock container hidden not far off the trail. Bring your own writing stick.
