The church of St. Peter, Thurston and was rebuilt in 1861 by J. H. Hakewell following the collapse of the tower of the previous medieval church which fell down on the night of Sunday March 18th 1860. The falling masonry took out the nave and isle roofs and ten days later the rest of the nave collapsed.
If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication
