Geocache Description:


Nogawa River has its source just west of Kokubunji Station on the grounds of Hitachi Central Research Laboratory. The river meanders its way through Kokubunji City and Koganei City on its way to the Tama River. There is a protected path for cycling and walking along most of its course. Enjoy the trip down river. Look out for ducks, herons, white wagtails and other birds. See if you can spot any fish in the river as you go. The river has funa, koi, kuchiboso and other fish in it. There is no pen in the cache.

野川の源流は、国分寺駅の西方面に日立中央研究所の敷地内にあります。野川は、多摩川に向かうまで、国分寺市と小金井市をくねくねと流れていきます。川沿いにサイクリングとウォーキングの専用道路がありますので、下流に旅行をお楽しみください。道中、カモ、サギ、他の鳥を見る事ができるので気を付けて下さい。また、川にはフナ、くちぼそ、鯉などが生息しているので探して見てはどうでしょうか？
