Her ved Varden, midt mellom Brusand og Ogna endrar landskapet seg merkbart. Mange reknar at dette er den sørlege enden av Jæren, og at Varden markerer starten på det meir småkuperte fjell-landskapet i Dalane.
Om du kjem gåande sør frå Ogna er det eit mektig syn som møter deg idet du rundar spissen av Varden, og dei endelause, kvite jærstrendene ligg opne føre deg.



Here at Varden, between Brusand and Ogna the landscape changes considerably. Many would say that this is the southern end of Jæren, and that Varden marks the start of the more hilly mountainous landscape of Dalane.
If you come walking south from Ogna, it is an impressive sight that greets you as you round the tip of Varden, and the endless, white beaches of Jæren lie open in front of you.
