A fun day that begins with hot dogs and punch, then we will hand out garbage bags and do a quick sweep of the surrounding area and nature trail. Finally, there will be a geo-raffle and two or three new caches to find! Come out and meet and greet and make new friends, eat and cache!!!!
Eliza Howell Park is a hidden treasure on Detroit's West Side. There is a beautiful nature trail, however, the park is very neglected and needs all the TLC that we can give. There are currently two caches already hidden and there will be two more added for this event. I am trying to work with the Friends of Eliza Howell Park organization to have a dual event and raise awareness for the park.
The schedule is as follows:
11:00 am - 12:00 pm Meet, greet, eat (Hot dogs, chips, and fruit punch will be provided)
12:00 pm - 1:30 pm Grab a garbage bag and take a hike (pun intended)
1:30 pm - 2:00 pm Geo-Raffle and Handout with new cache locations
DONATIONS FOR RAFFLE ACCEPTED!!!
Contact me by email if you would like to donate swag, unactivated trackables, or any other cache related stuff.
Each person will receive one raffle ticket upon sign-in.
There will be a trading table for trackables.
