7morgans: After a hectic month that involved moving and an out of town trip, I find that I just don't have time to replace this cache at this time. I know what kind of hide I want to do but just don't have time for it. I hope to place a new cache in near this spot this summer.

Geocache Description:

This cache may be difficult or impossible to approach after heavy or prolonged rain. I have given the cache a difficulty level of 3 because of all the flood debris in the area. The original cache container was a small lock & lock. Unfortunately, it was washed away by hurricane Sandy. I've replaced it with a micro so bring your own pen.

I have seen people heading to this area with fishing gear on several occasions, hence the name. I don't know much about fish, but there are plenty of beautiful birds in the area, I had the treat of hearing and spotting a belted kingfisher as I was placing the cache. I have occasionally seen pileated woodpeckers in the area as well. There is plenty of public parking in front of the nearby Manassas airport terminal building. There should also be public restrooms available in the building. If you have time, visit the Freedom Museum which is located in the terminal building. Museum hours are from 10-4, 7 days a week.
