7morgans: I'd say that ten years is a decent run for any cache and I hope everyone who found this cache enjoyed learning about one of Manassas' leading citizens. However, as we are leaving the area soon, I have made the difficult decisions to retire some, if not all, of my geocaches. So long Harry, it was a good run.

Geocache Description:

Cache is not at posted coordinates but is located within a mile. Solve the puzzle to find the actual coordinates. Cache is an M&M tube container and only has room for a pen and log. There is a business parking lot nearby. Please be considerate and park as far from the businesses as possible. There may be a lot of thorns, depending on what approach you take. Public restrooms located at airport terminal down the road.

This is a cache to help you learn more about a late leading citizen and former mayor of Manassas, Harry J. Parrish.

B = Elected to first term as mayor of Manassas in 196__
C = Number of letters in his middle name
D = Elected to the VA House of Delegates in 19__1
E = Final year as mayor of Manassas was 19__1
F = Chosen as “Man of the Century – Living” in 197__ by the City of Manassas
G = Represented District 5__ in the VA House of Delegates for 24 years
H = He is the father of this many children
I = Ground breaking ceremony was held on June 3 , 2009 for Harry J. Parrish Hall at the NOVA, Manassas campus (a free gift for this date as I could no longer find it via google as of Oct 2020).
J = Obtained the rank of colonel in the United States Air Force and was a wartime pilot of C-__7’s
