A cache on the Buckeye Trail
This section of the Buckeye Trail has recently been re-opened,
thanks to the work of Henry County Parks. A new footbridge was
installed for access to this section of trail. Park alongside US24
(BE CAREFUL !!), cross the bridge, and head toward the
cache. An interesting walk that will take you through a section of
Osage and some hardwoods, and past the former Lock 42 on the
Miami-Erie Canal. If you try to short-cut it, you're just going to
get wet, muddy, and mad. Park near the bridge coordinates
please.
Saw the cleared out trail from US24 today, and the new footbridge,
so I went across the river to the state park and talked with them.
They told me about the work that Henry County Parks has been doing
there, and advised that as long as you stick to the blue blazed
trail, the public has access.
You're looking for a 4" square container.
